Looking to buy dog gift basket?
If you want to buy dog gift basket and get creative making your own, you might have to spend some time shopping around.
It's kind of a toss up to me, which to do sometimes. You know, when you're going to buy dog gift baskets you want the person you're giving it to go... "WOW... look at this!"
You want them to think that it's the most clever, thoughtful and abundant gift they could ever receive, right? Because otherwise we'd just go get a dog bone, put a ribbon on it and call it good.
Unless this gift is going straight to your own dog, a bone with a ribbon probably won't cut it. And, if you don't want your pooch to think you're cheap, you still might try something else, like buy a dog gift basket.
I mean, you know he knows that you could have done better. It's that look he gives you when you sit down to dinner with all these choices on your plate and he's got... this little white bone thingy with no meat on it. I mean... come on! Is he your lifelong bud or what? Don't say I didn't warn you to make or buy dog gift baskets.
And of course, the guilt factor has been known to cause me to buy a dog gift basket myself... But only on special occassions... I'm not a sucker, after all. *GRIN*
Some things that I like to put in a dog gift basket, if I'm making it myself, would include:
- a rope toy
- some rawhide chews
- dog breath biscuits
- a nice new collar
- flea bath
- a dog training video
and more or less, depending on who it's for. The dog training videos are a great addition if the dog is a pup or has never been trained and the person who owns the dog is a little less experienced with dogs and their behavioral needs.
If you opt to buy dog gift basket instead of make one, there are a couple of super great sites that you can go and just order one right now. If time or creativity is an issue, I'd say check on of these places out.
If nothing else, they'll at least give you some ideas as to what you what to include in your dog gift basket.
Remember that you never want to give a dog chocolate, because it is extremely bad for them.
If you are making the dog gift basket yourself, make sure all the toys are intended for dogs and do not have any choking parts.
If you're really creative and have the extra money to spare, think about creating a dog gift basket inside of a dog bed. The bed makes a great gift and a perfect wrapper for the rest of the gifts.
Can you imagine your excitement if you received a gift like that for your dog? I know I would be thrilled with it!
Something else you might consider and that you can add whether you create your own or buy dog gift baskets, is adding a coupon or gift card to a dog supply store or service.
That way, if you're not exactly sure what to get or don't know what the dog or owner needs, you can make sure they get what they need.
To make it the most personal though... get a variety of toys that are healthy and good for the dog. If you want some advice there, click on the link to the left that says "Dog Toys" and I'll help you learn a little more about what toys are good and what purpose they serve.
I love to make and buy dog gift baskets. They're lots of fun and always give you a smile. Even if the owner doesn't appreciate the gift as much as you might hope, the dogs ALWAYS do.
So have fun when you make or buy dog gift basket! And, as always, here is my resource for you to check out. This is one of the best places to
